Self-care can mean something different for introverts and extroverts, so whichever side of the spectrum you’re on, you need different things for your mental and emotional health.
Self-care as an introvert: Schedule in downtime into each day such as beginning your day and ending your day in quiet solitude. Toss in your earbuds and listen to your favorite podcast as you’re out and about today. Begin journaling once a day to sit with your thoughts.
Self-care as an extrovert: Enroll in a weekly exercise class that you enjoy, find a local cause you feel pulled to volunteer for, create a standing coffee or dinner date with your friends that happens weekly, or join a book club.
Whatever side of the spectrum you’re on, make sure you take care of you in the unique way you’re made to be taken care of.
